About Us
We started Amistad Home in 2012 with a simple mission: treat the elderly with dignity and respect and provide them with high quality care. The owner, Vic, has been a registered nurse for more than 15 years. Our home, located on a quiet tree-lined street in the San Fernando Valley, is ideal for residents who could benefit from high staff to resident ratios. Our Services
Our two 24-hour care staff provide help with all levels of activities of daily living (e.g. help with dressing, bathing, continence care, ambulation, help out of bed, etc.). We are also licensed to provide care for residents with dementia and/or Alzheimers. Our services also include nutritious meals, help with medicine, a program of activities and transportation to doctors. Our rates are based on our evaluation of the level of care.
